Accessibility Guides for places in Sunderland

Sunderland Council has arranged for DisabledGo to assess more than 100 locations in the city for their accessibility.

DisabledGo is a national organisation that promotes independence and choice for people that have difficulty accessing their local area and the places we all want to visit. The results of their work can be found on their website where you’ll find an Accessibility Guide for every location, all aimed at helping people with visual impairments, hearing impairments, autism, dementia, learning disabilities and mental health issues.

You’ll find the guides here.
