To celebrate Carers Rights Day 2012, Sunderland Carers' Centre is hosting a photographic exhibition to highlight the importance of family carers taking a break from their caring roles.
The exhibition will feature photographs by Daniel Dale and give a fascinating insight to some of the hobbies and interests carers enjoy when they get those much needed breaks.
The private view will take place on Carers Rights Day, Friday 30th November from 12 noon to 3pm and at a later time of 4pm to 9pm at 'The Place' Gallery, Athenaeum Street, Sunderland SR1 1QX.
To attend the private view for either time contact Sunderland Carers' Centre on (0191) 549 3768 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
The exhibition will then run from Monday 3rd to Friday 14th December. 'The Place' Gallery is open 9am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 9am to 3.30pm on Friday.

OLYMPUS are showing their support for the exhibition and are giving away a free digital camera to one lucky carer who wins a free draw at either of the private view events.
Thank you to Olympus for being part of the Carers Rights Day celebrations in Sunderland and for recognising the vital role and contribution carers make, day in, day out!
Carers Breaks and Opportunities Scheme
Carers can also pick up information about the 'Carers Breaks and Opportunities Scheme' at the exhibition. If you don't currently take time out from your caring role the scheme could be just the thing to get you started!
