Typical themes covered in the training are:

• The impact of caring for someone
• Identifying carers
• What carers do
• Young Carers
• Carers and the impact on their own health
• Caring and the impact on employment and finances

On-line training resources:

If you are a Professional or student and find it difficult to get to the training sessions detailed above, Sunderland Carers Centre are hoping to develop training resources, so training can be accessed on-line and in bite-sized segments.  These training resources would be available from this website on 2018.  If you would like to register an interest in taking part in these sessions, please contact us on 0191 5493768 or email
