Carer Practitioner Engagement Lead (0-25)
(Minimum one year secondment cover)
35 hours per week – £22,880 per annum, 25 days holiday per year
This is an exciting opportunity for a challenging and rewarding role where you will need to be patient, solution focused, a good communicator and willing to work in an adaptable way. In responding to the needs and wishes of children, young carers and their families, you will be required to use a wide range of skills, including supporting the planning, delivery, facilitating and evaluation of a varied and flexible programme of activities for young carers aged 5 to 25.
In addition, be able to work on a 1 to 1 basis to offer a solution focus approach to meet individual needs of young carers. The successful applicant will need to be able to develop a diverse range of relationships with external partner organisations, such as education, health and social care across the city to enable the early identification and much needed awareness raising of the issues faced by young carers.
